1. What We Collect

Falcon collects minimal data necessary to provide the service:

  • Wallet addresses -- when you connect a wallet (MetaMask, Coinbase), your public wallet address is used to interact with smart contracts on BASE Sepolia.
  • Email addresses -- if you sign in via email OTP or a Timepoint account, your email is used for authentication only.
  • On-chain activity -- market creation, predictions, and claims are recorded on the BASE Sepolia blockchain. This data is public by nature of blockchain technology.
  • Usage analytics -- basic page views and feature usage via PostHog and Sentry for error tracking. No personal identifiers are attached.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • To authenticate you and connect you to the prediction market platform.
  • To process blockchain transactions you initiate (market creation, predictions, claims).
  • To monitor service health and fix bugs (via Sentry error reports).
  • To understand aggregate usage patterns (via PostHog analytics).

3. What We Do Not Do

  • We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
  • We do not serve targeted advertising.
  • We do not share your email address with third parties for marketing purposes.
  • We do not store your private keys. Wallet signing happens client-side.

4. Cookies and Local Storage

Falcon uses:

  • Session cookies -- for authentication state (if using email sign-in).
  • localStorage -- to persist wallet type preference and UI state (such as banner dismissal). No personal data is stored in localStorage.

5. Third-Party Services

  • BASE Sepolia (Coinbase) -- blockchain network for smart contract interactions.
  • PostHog -- privacy-focused product analytics.
  • Sentry -- error monitoring and performance tracking.
  • Timepoint AI -- parent platform for OAuth authentication.

6. Blockchain Data

Prediction submissions, market outcomes, and transaction history are recorded on the BASE Sepolia public blockchain. This data is immutable and publicly accessible. Falcon cannot delete or modify on-chain data once transactions are confirmed.

7. Data Retention

Account data (email, session info) is retained as long as your account is active. Analytics data is retained for up to 12 months. On-chain data is permanent.

8. Your Rights

You may:

  • Request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated off-chain data.
  • Opt out of analytics by using a browser extension that blocks PostHog.
